bigdata software package provides Software platform for processing vast amounts of data, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bigdata
bigdata is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bigdata package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bigdata *
You will get with bigdata package name, version, architecture and description in a table
